Easy trout fishing tip

Powerbait is an artificial baiting product that is supposed to be easy to use; it requires no “how to manual”. It is best used to fish for trout in stocked lakes. Most people prefer this as they believe it to be easy than using live bait but not all use it as effectively as they should. Just because you have bait and will fish doesn’t necessarily mean fish will bite. There are things to consider before one wades into the water and starts casting lines. Next the line that one uses to fish for trout should always be clear and light as trout have keen eyesight and will most likely spot a fishing line that’s heavy. When fishing for trout it always important to take note of the weather and as some would find strange, the moon. The moon is known to have an effect on the tidal waves in oceans but its not only saltwater fish or the fish in the sea that the moon would have an effect on, Marine biologists and Anglers have observed occurrences that happen when the moon is full, the trout go into a feeding frenzy. This is why some Anglers would rather fish at night than during the day, especially on a full moon. The weather is perfect when the atmospheric pressure is high, low pressure system forces fish to have something similar to an upset stomach and would not be interested in a fishermans’ bait. When these conditions are optimal the Angler can go out and fish without having to try on too many luring techniques.

Before we even discuss the how to use Powerbait effectively, the first that needs to be mentioned is that synthetic bait, floats which means you will need a sinker as part of your rig. The important parts for your rig are your swivel and hooks. At the end of your line you should tie a ¼ ounce egg sinker, and then tie a small barrel swivel that will act as a stopper and then a set of gang hooks. The gang hooks are as effective as they are for live baiting as they allow the angler using synthetic bait to present as much bait. Cast out and let the line sink, give the bait 20-30 minutes to permeate and release its scent into the water before checking and re-baiting. When the tip of your rod starts bouncing then you know you have a tout at the end of you line biting for dear life. It can be a long, lazy wait but then fishing is a patient sport.

To recap, check the weather conditions, use gang hooks to present as much bait sit back and relax.
